“Double the trouble, twice the action, and quadruple the enjoyment. Careful while reading this one, it could leave a mark.”—Steve Berry, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Lost Order

A Navy SEAL has nothing left to live for and everything to kill for after he discovers that the American government is behind the deaths of his team in this ripped-from-the-headlines political thriller.

On his last combat deployment, Lieutenant Commander James Reece’s entire team was killed in a catastrophic ambush that also claimed the lives of the aircrew sent in to rescue them. But when those dearest to him are murdered on the day of his homecoming, Reece discovers that this was not an act of war by a foreign enemy but a conspiracy that runs to the highest levels of government.

Now, with no family and free from the military’s command structure, Reece applies the lessons that he’s learned in over a decade of constant warfare toward avenging the deaths of his family and teammates. With breathless pacing and relentless suspense, Reece ruthlessly targets his enemies in the upper echelons of power without regard for the laws of combat or the rule of law.

An intoxicating thriller that cautions against the seduction of absolute power and those who would do anything to achieve it, The Terminal List is perfect for fans of Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, Stephen Hunter, and Nelson DeMille.

The book was a fascinating read. I could not put it down, and I typically do not read fiction. I will suggest it to many.

Great read! Loved all the good men and women in the story and the “hints” of who the bad actors could be in this current state of the ugly Washington” swamp we are learning more and more about. I hope you continue your writing and I thank you for your service.

This is an amazing first novel! This book grabs you and doesn’t let go till the end. The detail in this is astounding!
  • A must read

This book was I hope, the first of many novels. I didn’t like the redacted things, I thought them totally unnecessary and it took away from the book. You are reading, then suddenly words are blackened out and I thought, “this is the most stupid idea!” Everything else is discussed, why redact words? Leave it out next time.

I have read all of Brad Thor, Vince Flynn and most of the authors in this genre. Jack Carr is talented author and story teller and right there with Brad and Vince. I agree with Mr Thor. A great read and fantastic character development. I hope there are many more James Reece novels. P. G. Coke
  • Too stilted

    By 91Smile87#
Carr’s prose is often too hackneyed to be engaging and his timeline is suspect. A lot of detail on armaments and equipment which will appeal to some but can be grating to average reader. Needs to dig deeper.
  • Fair not great

    By MarkWhiteLotus
First, The Punisher does this genre much better. The story line is fair not great. The real problem is the political sniping the author takes at Democrats and his main villain is closely modeled after the Clintons. I’m no Clinton fan but c’mon. Leave political bull crap out.
  • Fun But...

A fun read but slightly over the top.
